On 18th December Qatar celebrates its National Day, marking 47 years of independence from its status as a British protectorate. Perhaps this is an opportune moment to take a look at elements of an often misunderstood Gulf state that tends to get ignored in the shadow of its brasher and more familiar neighbours.

Great to see Reed MIDEM - a member of Reed Exhibitions introducing a Live Summit for MIDEM 2018. It's looking like a dynamic programme for next year's conference, with plenty of quality live content to add to the usual cocktail of panels, networking and, of course, the parties...

This year’s FMF partnered with events app, Second Screen, allowing delegates to tap into all the conference details on their mobile devices as they navigated the packed schedule. Highlights of the 2017 agenda included dynamic panels led by entrepreneur Jack Horner and featuring presentations from Georg Herlitz (Creative Director & acting Head of Music Network, United Screens), and Nic Yeeles (Co-Founder / CEO, Peg) on the ever-shifting landscape of Influencer Marketing.

Great to know that, as one of the more boutique, specialist industry events on the European calendar, we are being supported and featured in our industry's press.

Syrian Superstar, Assala Nasri, to Perform in London: Dana Al Fardan’s Sandstorm, Theatre Royal Haymarket, 17th September 2017

Multi-award-winning Syrian-born singer and TV personality, Assala Nasri, will give a special guest performance at this month’s London production of Dana Al Fardan’s Sandstorm.

Huge congratulations to my client, Janesta Boudreau on her Music Week Sync Awards nomination in the Video Games Music Supervision category. It's a pleasure to be working with Janesta and her fantastic team on their new sync-focused covers catalogue, Coversion, launching at this year's London Sync Sessions during Future Music Forum Barcelona ( Part of the Fullbelly Group) at the Estrella Damm Brewery in Barcelona in September.

Coversion, a sync-focused covers catalogue with hubs in London and Canada, will launch in September. The catalogue, entirely tailored to the servicing of high quality covers to the sync market, is set to launch at this year’s London Sync Sessions, being hosted at the Future Music Forum in Barcelona next month. 

The dynamic schedule of panels will this year be hosted at the Future Music Forum, from 13-15 September, at the Estrella Damm Brewery, Barcelona. The Sync Sessions conference content kicks off a month today, 14 September.
