Midem, the home of the global music community, today announces the winners of this year’s Midemlab competition. The 14th edition of the competition, presented by Sacem, took place digitally on November 16 during Midem Digital Edition.

Multi-award-winning composer and musician, Nitin Sawhney, was awarded a Fellowship of charity, In Place Of War, at an event hosted by the Manchester India Partnership organisation last week.

In Place Of War is a global organisation that uses creativity, especially music, and cultural entrepreneurship as tools for change, to bring hope and provide a voice for marginalised communities

Midem is a music event organised by RX France that is held annually for all music professionals around the globe. It gives everybody in the industry a chance to network with thousands of other professionals including artists, managers, agents, and more.

Embrace the New Monetisation Frontier is the theme for this year’s Midem Digital Edition.

The 2021 online event runs from November 16 to 19, presenting a packed programme of high-profile keynotes, artist showcases and talks, the music-tech startup competition Midemlab, live workshops and networking session.
