Future Music Forum Feat. London Sync Sessions

Future Music Forum Feat. London Sync Sessions, Barcelona, September 2017

The Future Music Forum (FMF), Europe’s favourite boutique industry conference, today announced the launch of its 8th edition, which will this year incorporate the 3rd edition of the London Sync Sessions (LSS). FMF 2017, featuring LSS, will take place from 13th-15th September at the Estrella Damm Brewery in Barcelona.

The FMF is a global 3-day music conference presenting industry speakers from around the world, networking sessions, keynote presentations, panel discussions, workshops and live showcases from Europe’s freshest up and coming bands. 2017 will be the first edition of the event featuring the London Sync Sessions, which has built on its huge inaugural success in 2015 at Metropolis Studios and now looking forward to an even bigger lineup in its 3rd year.

FMF Features 3rd Edition of London Sync Sessions in 2017

FMF Founder, Niall Doorley says of the decision to host the Sync Sessions at this year’s event, “LSS has quickly become the definitive and must-attend event for all in the world of sync and perfectly complements our offering at FMF. They bring a focused cohort of the best of the sync and publishing world to our global cross-sector of industry attendees. What delegates experience when they attend the conference is an intimate gathering of like-minded industry professionals, frank discussions about the business’ landscape and the opportunity to network with an international community of forward-thinkers and decision-makers.” LSS Co-Founder and Head of Metropolis Creative, Rupert Hollier,  adds, “FMF has established itself as one of the most authentic and highest quality industry conferences on the European agenda, so it seemed a natural event partner for us. LSS provides attendees with an opportunity to engage with in-depth discussions about the role of synchronisation in the music industry, with contributions from CEOs, publishers, record labels, film and TV producers, supervisors and composers, and has fast become something of a Mecca for those in our sector of the industry, so brings a new element of detailed focus to the overall FMF content.”

LSS 2017 Partners with Coversion, The Sync-Focused Covers Catalogue

LSS organisers, Metropolis Music Publishing (MMP), are delighted to announce their partnership this year with Coversion, a sync-focused covers catalogue, which will launch at the Barcelona event and are the headline sponsors for the LSS. LSS Organiser, David Fish, Publishing and Sync Manager at Metropolis, says, “We are excited to have Coversion on board this year. The catalogue’s Co-founder Janesta Boudreau comes from a distinguished background in sync and her team of music supervisors, producers and artists are bringing something fresh and relevant to the sync market, making Coversion the perfect fit for LSS.” Coversion Co-Founder Boudreau adds, “We’re really happy to be working with the LSS team. The event really is the go-to on the sync and publishing calendar, so we are looking forward to hosting a panel and introducing delegates to the Coversion catalogue at our dedicated launch during the event.”
